Crystal Bliss at the Solstice
People can get scientific with crystals. Or witchy. Or geologic.
I’ve always been an organic girl, I go right to Source:
“Open me to your magic” is my whispered prayer, my intention, when I work with the stones.
And they whisper back: “The magic is in you.”
Crystals return us to Nature. To our inner nature. To the ebbs and flows and rhythms and cycles of the world around us.
They open us up to the spirits of the Earth - the spirits many have forgotten, become disconnected from, as with the spirit in themselves.
In this world (and the realms in between) everything is vibrant with life: rock, river, tree, flower, dirt. Do we respect life? Do we respect our own?
Our ancestors both feared and revered Nature. Nature is a force both of creation and destruction.
A life force that can heal us and reveal our purpose when we’re willing to engage with it.
And when we’re willing to listen to our souls.
Crystals draw us inward and downward, onward and up. They reveal what is hidden while at the same time keeping it safe.
As the summer unfolds with the upcoming solstice (or winter, depending on where you are), consider skipping out on the circles, gatherings, chants, rituals.
Consider spending it quietly, in nature, with your soul, Spirit, and a sacred stone.
Hold it close. Whisper to it your dreams and fears. Open your heart to the natural world around you. Sit with the truth of your soul. Let Spirit enter in the silence.
Be One.
At midsummer the portals open, the nature spirits rise, the faeries dance, and the wild folk drum.
Life on Earth is celebrated. The potential for magic is highest.
Reconnect in every way on a blessed day (and then many thereafter) and come back to all that you are, all that you are made of, all of the magic that’s in and around you.
